Raheem DavisRaheem Davis is a Clinical Placement & Compliance Coordinator for FPD in the College of Nursing. His commitment to IE began as a first-generation college student. A strong supporter of student advocacy, his goals aligned with SHU’s vision of creating a campus community that is recognized as caring and creative. He received a master’s degree from Northern Arizona University with a focus on financing in higher education.

Before joining SHU, he served as a Program Specialist at Westchester Community College overseeing promotion of and entry into short-term workforce programs. Prior to WCC, he served as an Admissions Counselor at the University of Arizona, implementing recruitment efforts and partnered with the College of Science in its efforts to recruit a more diverse student population. He also worked in Residential Life at several SUNY schools where he doubled as the advisor for several multicultural clubs on campus. Growing up in the South Bronx & being raised in Queensbridge Projects has afforded an opportunity to share his experiences with family members & students who are navigating higher education in a PWI for the first time. He is looking forward to establishing SHU’s commitment to being a leader in Inclusive Excellence & engaging with campus leaders-students, staff & faculty in advancing initiatives. In addition, he enjoys hiking, photography, playing in golf tournaments, volunteering as a rules official for the Metropolitan Golf Association & PGA tour as a walking scorer, family time, coaching his sons little league team & cheering his 2 daughters on as high school volleyball players.
