Who we are

Employee Education serves as a professional development resource for all SHU staff.

As a community we are committed to achieving prominence through innovation and learning, and thus, Employee Education seeks to further the mission of the University by providing a comprehensive approach to learning and leadership development at all levels. With the commitment to excellence as well as the pursuit of truth and knowledge in the fabric of our identity, we encourage all SHU staff members to take advantage of the opportunities offered through Employee Education.

What we do

Employee Education provides leadership and learning opportunities beginning at the date of hire and is designed to assist in the employee experience long-term. By offering these resources and working as a partner to employees, we desire to assist our community members in reaching their full potential.

How we do it

With respect to all learning styles and in an effort to maximize time while utilizing all resources available to us, Employee Education takes a multifaceted approach to learning and leadership development. We use a combination of in-person trainings, online resources, various workshops and individually designed programs in order to meet the needs of our community.
