Spanish Language, Culture and Medical Internship Program

Students studying in SpainPartnering with Global Education Abroad, this three-week immersion program provides undergraduate students with an opportunity for medical internships and Spanish language courses plus an EMT boot camp in beautiful Seville, Spain. Open to all undergraduate students, participants will engage in 2 weeks of Spanish language training (mornings) and medical internships (afternoons). Participants will conclude the program with 1 week of EMT Bootcamp. Participants will stay with local families and have a full meal plan. They can participate in cultural programs such as Tapas Nights and a Flamenco Show. Weekends will be free for students to explore.

CHP PA Clinical Rotations in Spain

PA Students in SpainThis Spain destination is open for all second year Physician Assistant student in the College of Health Professions. This program gives students the opportunity to collaborate for multilevel global health clinical learning. Students who decide to participate in this program will engage in different cultural clinical rotations at Hospital Quirónsalud Infanta Luisa. This program is designed for students to gain the knowledge they need as well as the clinical rotations required, while still immersing themselves into a new culture and studying abroad. The program is four weeks long and is offered in October, November and January for students who intend on earning a degree in healthcare. Student who decide to participate will take a one-week intensive Spanish course, live with host families, take part in different activities and have time to explore on their own. During the clinical rotations, each student will be assigned a doctor as a supervisor who will watch over their performance.
