Summer Volunteer Opportunities
Many of our local and regional partners are looking for volunteer/paid positions to support their summer programming. See below for more information about the organizations and position descriptions.
Camp Casco
Camp Casco is a summer camp for children affected by pediatric cancer in New England. Their unique camps help kids affected by cancer experience friendship, fresh air and fun in a safe and welcoming environment! All summer camps are provided at no cost to our families, have medical care onsite at all times, and are run by dedicated volunteers who want to make an immediate and lasting impact on a child's life. Volunteering with them is a great way to grow a professional network, gain valuable work experience, build new skills and even form lifelong friendships. There are four week-long volunteer opportunities this summer. To learn more about volunteer opportunities, visit the Camp Casco website.
Camp Tapawingo
Since 1919, Camp Tapawingo has been making a difference in the lives of girls. The staff, current families and alumnae agree that the experiences and relationships the campers enjoy during their summers at Tap are influential in their development into compassionate, courageous, and confident adults. As a Tapawingo counselor, you'll spend your days teaching classes to small groups of campers in your area of expertise (arts and crafts, land sports, horseback riding, theater, outdoor adventure, waterfront). In the evening, camp hosts all-camp programs such as a theater productions, sports games, campfires or goofy team-building activities. To learn more, visit the Camp Tapawingo website.
