Retreats
[Jesus] said to them, ‘Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while.’ (Mark 6:31)
To go on retreat is to embrace the opportunity to pause, reflect and encounter God in a supportive environment, and in the process to discover God’s presence within, in each other and in the natural world. The retreats program in Campus Ministry is made up of a variety of retreat experiences for students, faculty and staff to leave the worries of the world behind to spend time growing in relationship with God, others and self.
Campus Ministry offers various retreat experiences throughout the year. Keep reading to learn more about all the retreats we offer and details for applying.

Encounter with Christ
Encounter with Christ is an opportunity for all students to experience a weekend away from campus to grow in their relationship with God, make new friends and reflect. This weekend-long retreat is open to any student, regardless of class year.
Details regarding the date and location will be announced soon.
Day Retreats
In addition to weekend-long retreats, Campus Ministry is also happy to offer day-long retreats on a variety of topics.
As day retreats are planned, more information will be released.
Faculty/Staff Retreat
Campus Ministry is happy to offer a retreat for faculty and staff. This is a chance for faculty and staff to take a break from the busyness of the semester to find some quiet time with God.
Retreat Leadership
Each retreat has its own leadership team of students who apply to lead each retreat (not including the Faculty/Staff Retreat). Students meet over the weeks leading up to a retreat to plan the retreat, grow in community together, and invite others to the retreat. The commitment to each retreat team varies, but it’s typically an hour-long meeting for a few weeks leading to the retreat, plus attending the retreat itself. There may also be work completed outside of meeting times to prepare in a timely manner.
