Check-in & Parking Information

Friday, November 7

Check-in will take place from 1 p.m.-6 p.m. at the McMahon Commons Presentation Room (first floor) located in the middle of the Park Avenue Campus.

Parking will be available throughout campus on Friday. If you are planning to attend the men's hockey game, we encourage parking on Park Avenue Campus to check in and taking SHU-provided buses/shuttles to the Martire Family Arena. Buses and shuttles will depart directly across from McMahon Commons beginning at 5:30 p.m.

For those attending the Golden Pioneers Luncheon at 12:30 p.m., parking will be available on West Campus (3135 Easton Turnpike, Fairfield, CT). When you arrive, please follow signs for Alumni Event/Homecoming Parking.

For those attending the Young Alumni Awards beginning at 4:30 p.m., parking will be available on West Campus (3135 Easton Turnpike, Fairfield, CT). When you arrive please follow signs for Alumni Event/Homecoming Parking.

Saturday, November 8

Check-in will take place from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at the McMahon Commons Presentation Room (first floor) located in the middle of the Park Avenue Campus. For those only attending the men’s hockey game at 5 p.m., check-in will also be available from 4 p.m.-5:30 p.m. at the Martire Family Arena tunnel.

Accessibility Parking: For those who may need access to accessibility parking on Saturday, November 8, please reach out in advance to Director of Public Safety Jack Fernandez at fernandezj@sacredheart.edu.

All attendees should use the main Park Avenue entrance for access to campus on Saturday, November 8.

Park Avenue Campus Parking: The following locations will be available on a first-come, first serve basis:

• South Parking Garage, floors 2-4
• Faculty/Staff Lot (left of Park Avenue Entrance)
• Commuter Parking Lot (Right of Park Avenue Entrance)
• Library Lot
• North Lot (adjacent to Bergoglio Hall)

Additional Parking Locations:

• Martire Center for Liberal Arts Parking Lot (5401 Park Avenue, Fairfield, CT)
• West Campus (3135 Easton Turnpike, Fairfield, CT). *Will need to take SHU shuttles from location to Park Avenue Campus. Shuttles pick up in front of the East Building at West Campus.

Important Additional Information

• Please note that tailgating is not permitted in any parking lot during Homecoming weekend. Additionally, we ask that you adhere to all parking rules and enforcement while on campus.
• For your convenience, golf carts will be available on Saturday, November 8, to transport attendees around campus.
• On-Campus Animal Policy: only certified service dogs will be permitted on campus. This will be strictly enforced.
