Faculty Affairs & Resources

Faculty Affairs is responsible for the processes and procedures pertaining to faculty-related employment matters at Sacred Heart University.

In addition to facilitating the operational employment processes, such as recruitment and onboarding of faculty, Faculty Affairs maintains, interprets and actualizes the policies and procedures of the Faculty Handbook and the Employee Policy Handbook. Faculty Affairs serves as a resource for faculty, department chairs, deans and the provost, providing support with navigating the faculty life cycle of employment, including but not limited to onboarding, performance appraisal, tenure, promotion, reappointment, sabbatical and separation.
