Program Benefits

  • Designed for highly motivated students who want to complete the Master of Public Health (MPH) in the least amount of time
    • Well-suited for students planning on applying to medical, dental or doctoral programs who want to enhance their knowledge base and gain valuable research experience in public health during their gap year
  • Course scheduling requires students to take 3-4 courses each term, which can be equivalent to a 40-50 hour-per-week course workload, with capstone completion during the final summer term
  • Immersive on-ground program requires students to complete coursework, applied practice experience and integrated learning experiences during four intensive academic terms
  • Accelerated MPH students complete a research thesis; internship practicum not available
  • Due to the intensive nature of this program, it is recommended that students do not work when completing the 1-year accelerated MPH
