Admission Requirements

For 2026 enrollment, the application opens on August 1, 2025. The priority deadline is December 1, 2025, and the final deadline is February 1, 2026. 

  • Master’s degree (or higher) from an accredited university, with a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • A minimum of three years of professional work experience, five years or more preferred
  • Experience in leading or managing people in organizations preferred
  • GRE or GMAT optional, but recommended for those with a lower GPA

Applications for graduate fellowships/assistantships are provided separately. Request discussion with the program director.

Required Admission Documents:

  • Online application
  • Nonrefundable application fee
  • Official transcripts from all previously attended institutions (undergraduate and graduate)
  • Two letters of professional recommendation from employers, supervisors or leaders who have witnessed your work and character
  • Updated CV/resume (exhibiting a minimum of seven years and a maximum of 10 years of work history), except those with fewer than seven years of work experience
  • Writing sample and/or admissions essay

Once all of the above items are received, qualified candidates will be invited to interview with the department chair and program director. Interviews are by invitation only.

Most application materials can be uploaded to your applicant portal. Transcripts can be submitted directly from your previous institutions via official electronic delivery system (preferred method) to gradstudies@sacredheart.edu. They can also be mailed to:
