A certificate in acting provides students with a comprehensive foundation in the core skills and techniques essential for a successful career in the performing arts.
Through hands-on training in voice, movement, improvisation and scene study, students develop their unique artistic voices while gaining practical experience in stagecraft.
Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of acting through a series of assigned scenes and plays. Students will be required to complete close readings, discussion, and analysis of specific scenes and plays. Students will also apply their analysis in performance.
