Prepare to become a Registered Play Therapist™ (RPT™) or School-Based RPT™ through specialized training aligned with the standards of the Association for Play Therapy. Through hands-on learning and guided professional development, you’ll build the skills to help children express themselves, heal and thrive. You’ll be supported by our Institute for Play Therapy and Expressive Arts Education and Research, an Approved Center for Play Therapy Education and the first credentialed play therapy education center in New England.

  • Current students enrolled in counseling, social work, couples and family therapy, psychology or another approved licensure prep program at a regionally accredited university
  • Professionals who have completed a master’s degree in counseling, social work, couples and family therapy, psychology or another approved licensure prep program from an accredited university
