Parking Information
Due to limited parking, we ask graduates and guests to carpool or rideshare if practical for their circumstances. If driving, make sure your hangtag is prominently displayed to facilitate the parking process.
Traffic
There may be numerous events scheduled throughout the Bridgeport downtown area during the day, which may impact traffic and parking for the graduation ceremonies. Please plan accordingly.
Parking
Bridgeport Police officers will be assigned to direct traffic to all available parking areas. Parking, including ADA parking, will be available in the two surface lots in front of the amphitheater along with the parking garage next door on a first come, first served basis. Additionally, street parking is available a short walk away, on the north side of I-95.
Parking Passes
Graduates in the Undergraduate Commencement ceremonies will receive three parking passes (one for them and two for their guests) at cap & gown pick up. Graduates in the Graduate Commencement ceremony will receive an email at the end of April with their parking pass to print out for themselves and their guests.
Entrance
All graduates and guests will enter the amphitheater through the gate on the northside of the venue, under the large canopy. Guests should have their tickets available (pulled up on their phone for the graduate ceremony) to expedite entrance. Guests will be guided to their seats and graduates will be guided to the assembly area from there.
Conclusion of the 10 a.m. Undergraduate Ceremony
After the ceremony, we kindly request that graduates and guests promptly exit the venue at its conclusion to provide access to those arriving for the afternoon ceremony.
