Part-Time Student Life Graduate Assistant
The SL Graduate Assistant will work directly with the Associate Dean of Students and Coordinator of Student Life Programs by way of event planning, advising/mentoring student leaders, and oversight of and assistance with department events throughout the year. The Graduate Assistant ( GA) role is a live-in position requiring extensive evening and weekend time commitments. The graduate assistant must be available to work those hours. The position will also require week long on-call duty hours that will be rotated with other Graduate Assistants during each month/semester.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist and work directly with the Coordinator of Student life Programs on SHU Orientation Program, OL training, etc.
- Coordinate the First 50 Days Program
- Assist with FYE Assistant training
- Assist with retention efforts for transfer/first year students.
- Assist with all SL programs including: Family Weekend, Campus Life Leadership Awards and Student Affairs Lecture Series, Senior Week, Concert.
- GA Duty
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Full-Time Student Life Graduate Assistant
The SL Graduate Assistant will work directly with the Associate Dean of Students and Coordinator of Student Life Programs by way of event planning, advising/mentoring student leaders, and oversight of and assistance with department events throughout the year. - Compensation Package:
- $15,000 tuition waiver
- $12,300 stipend
- Housing (includes cable & utilities)
- Meal Plan ($1,500/year)
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for all Student Life Departmental budget transactions through SHU EBuy as well as the accounting of all budgets through Quicken. Also responsible for communicating monthly reports, club/organization expenditure questions and advising the SG Vice President for Finance.
- Assist and work directly with the Coordinator of Student life Programs on SHU Orientation Program, OL training, etc.
