Cybersecurity & Privacy Center

The Cybersecurity & Privacy Center (CyPC) at Sacred Heart University (SHU) is an interdisciplinary and intercollegiate hub for education, research, training and community outreach in cybersecurity and privacy.

The CyPC provides the current and future cybersecurity workforce with requisite knowledge and skills, as well as a learning platform in various aspects of cybersecurity and privacy through degree programs, professional certificates, training opportunities, research and community outreach activities. CyPC is housed in SHU’s Jack Welch College of Business & Technology, which is committed to interdisciplinary and intercollegiate collaborations.

Mission

The mission of the Cybersecurity & Privacy Center (CyPC) is to foster excellence in the fields of cybersecurity and privacy through a wide range of educational, research and training opportunities, all of which are designed to nurture the current and future cybersecurity workforce.
