Kristin Schweizer, PT, DPT

Clinical Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy
Kristin, the associate director of clinical education for SHU’s doctor of physical therapy program, was appointed by Gov. Ned Lamont to serve on the Connecticut Board of Examiners for Physical Therapy. Her research interests include neurologic rehabilitation, health policy and practice management, with an emphasis on regulatory compliance, patient safety and quality improvement.

Gabe Orthous, MBA

Adjunct Professor, Health Informatics
With 20+ years as a value-based care strategic thinker, Gabe was recently installed as the director of the Master of Healthcare Leadership program at Cummings Graduate Institute for Behavioral Health Studies. Co-author of "SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence: The Comprehensive Guide", he is also an adjunct professor at Georgia State University.
