The faculty and staff in the Farrington College of Education & Human Development aspire to prepare and support all teacher candidates to promote effective, culturally sustaining teaching practices that will positively impact the students and communities they serve. This vision will be enacted through:

Teacher education at Sacred Heart University provides students with the opportunity to differentiate themselves in the field through various paths and options. Graduates will be prepared to teach and lead in any public or private school setting.
