The whole campus community will come together to celebrate the Class of 2030 with the traditional lighting of the Chapel of the Holy Spirit's bell tower at 9 p.m. to kick off the First 50 Days on campus. Come for the DJ, a 360-degree photo booth, lawn games, giveaways, balloon art, and food trucks. You won’t want to miss this traditional SHU celebration!

Welcome to the Davis & Henley College of Nursing community. This informative session will help first-year students begin their nursing journey with confidence. Students will meet the members of their support circle, hear from the faculty coordinators of nursing science and math courses, and learn about academic progression and expectations. Following this overview in the chapel, students will meet other first-year students and attend information sessions about course resources with their peer mentor. The day concludes with a campus crawl around their FYE schedule.

This interactive session will offer first-year students in the College of Arts & Sciences a head start on their Sacred Heart University college careers. The first-year will meet with first-year academic advisers, receive pointers on preparing for the academic realities of college, and have an opportunity to have their questions answered and concerns addressed.

9 a.m. Jack Welch College of Business & Technology Academic Session*
Meet at the Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts for shuttle pick up to West Campus starting at 9 a.m., although students should check their SHU email to see when their major/program is scheduled to start. From there, get a tour of the college, meet with your Welch mentor, peers, faculty, and staff to better understand expectations, courses, available resources, and more! Shuttles will begin bringing you back to the Park Avenue Campus at 11:30 a.m., with the last shuttle departing West Campus at 12:15 p.m.
