Outreach Coordinator
The graduate assistant will assist the ESL program director with the day-to-day operations of the institute and work closely with students, faculty, and staff. The position provides support in student services, faculty needs, recruitment and outreach, marketing, administrative and financial activities, and student programming.
- Part-time: 15 hours/week
- Compensation: $12,000
- Academic Program Preferred: Strategic Communication & Corporate PR, Finance, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, or a related field

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide general support to current and prospective ELI students, including assistance with enrollment, registration, placement, course schedules, and general program questions, and respond to inquiries through email, WhatsApp, and other communication platforms
- Assist with student orientation, activities, excursions, and other ELI events
- Support recruitment and outreach efforts, including Slate communications and maintaining recruitment contacts and databases
- Support digital advertising, social media, SEO initiatives, and the development of marketing materials
- Assist with bookkeeping, budget tracking, financial reporting, and other administrative tasks
- Assist with ELI programs, projects, and day-to-day operations as needed
Knowledge & Skills Needed
- Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English
- Experience or demonstrated skills in finance, marketing, and/or social media preferred
- Interest or experience in international and intercultural environments preferred
- Second-language proficiency preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, social media platforms, and digital communication tools; advanced Excel skills preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively and respectfully with culturally and linguistically diverse populations
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities
Unusual Working Conditions
Occasional evening and/or weekend hours may be required.
