Join us for a Broadway trip to see MJ the Musical! The bus will leave outside of the Edgerton bus loop at 10 a.m. for the 3 p.m. show. The bus will leave promptly after the show ends. Students must take SHU transportation there and back. Tickets available for $25 in the Student Life office. Limited quantity available.

Have you always wanted to learn how to Irish step dance? Join SHU's iconic Claddagh Irish Dancers for an afternoon learning the basics to Irish step dancing. No previous experience necessary. Dress in clothing you can move freely in and bring socks, sneakers or soft style shoes (jazz shoes, ballet slippers, etc.).

Join us for a performance of The Miss Firecracker Contest! Its heroine, Carnelle, is an irrepressible young woman who believes that winning the local beauty contest will restore her soiled reputation and make her somebody in her small Mississippi community. The family and friends who help her along the way are a dysfunctional bunch who tackle life in their own peculiar ways. A former beauty queen cousin, Elaina, comes to offer advice and escape from her husband and children. Elaina’s brother, Delmount, has returned home to sell the family home and provide Carnelle with another way out. Wandering into the chaos is Carnelle’s seamstress, the sweet and strange Popeye, who falls in love with Delmount. Ultimately, these characters come to understand that, even if the real you does not fulfill your hopes, you will be more at peace when you learn to define and accept yourself. Learn more.
