This community conversation invites students to reflect on their personal values, motivations, and purpose in service. Through open dialogue and guided reflection, students will explore what inspires them to get involved, how their experiences shape their leadership, and how understanding their “why” can help them engage with others in a more meaningful and intentional way.

Join with the Jewish club to celebrate the Jewish festival of Sukkot with pizza, friends, and community! Sukkot is the Jewish harvest festival and on Sukkot, it is traditional to build a temporary outdoor hut called a Sukkah for meals and gatherings. At this event, we will gather in our awesome new SHU Sukkah for pizza, good vibes, and a chance to hang out with friends while experiencing a unique Jewish holiday tradition. Everyone is welcome, Jewish and non-Jewish students and faculty alike. Bring your friends! No prior knowledge or experience needed.

An interactive major exploration experience designed to help students make more informed decisions about their academic paths. Students will rotate through a series of brief conversations with faculty and staff that represent different majors at SHU! This allows for the opportunity to ask questions, gain insight into what different programs entail, and learn about the types of careers those majors can lead to. Students will be able to better understand how their interests and strengths align with potential academic paths, making the process of declaring a major more intentional and exciting! Our Career & Professional Development office will also be available to answer questions on how to prepare, internships, and future job opportunities!

The Asian American Pacific Islander Club (AAPIC) invites you to their Mid-Autumn Festival! The celebration will feature lantern making, calligraphy, and a dumpling-making class hosted by Grumpy Dumplings.
