Freshman nursing students will learn effective study techniques, note-taking strategies and approaches to tackle course assessments before their first exams. Students are required to attend one of the three prerequisite nursing course tips and tricks sessions offered in September.

Health science majors will have a chance to meet their academic adviser, learn about the program and course progression and discover resources to succeed in the College of Health Professions. This session is being offered for four of the five health science concentrations: dietetics and nutrition, global health, healthcare administration and public health. Health science students are required to attend one session of the two sessions being offered.
