Phi Gamma Delta
Phi Gamma Delta was founded May 1, 1848, at Jefferson College in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania by the “Immortal Six“: John Templeton McCarty, Samuel Beatty Wilson, James Elliott Jr., Ellis Bailey Gregg, Daniel Webster Crofts, and Naaman Fletcher. There are currently 125 active chapters with over 9,500 undergraduate members. Since its founding, the fraternity has initiated over 210,000 total members.
