Lori S. Bigelow Scholarship
Lori Susan Bigelow, who had served as Co-President of Bigelow Tea and was instrumental in creating some of the most successful teas in the company’s portfolio, passed peacefully in late February of 2020. Lori was raised in Westport, Connecticut, where she developed a passion for gymnastics, eventually becoming captain of her team at Keene State College. Her passion for sport, healthy eating, and exercise endured throughout her life.
The Lori S. Bigelow Scholarship was established in 2020 to honor Lori’s legacy. The Bigelow Scholar will receive a $20,000 scholarship payable $10,000 each semester for matriculation in the BS in Health Science: Dietetics and Nutrition Concentration or the MS in Exercise & Sport Science program at Sacred Heart University.
Scholarship Criteria

For candidates meeting the criteria above, priority consideration will be given to a student demonstrating the greatest financial need. Final determination of the Bigelow Scholar will be made by Cindi Bigelow, CEO of Bigelow Tea and the generous benefactor of the Lori S. Bigelow Scholarship.
