The Sacred Heart University’s fencing team’s mission is to prepare our student-athletes for the real world by teaching them what it means to be on a team, how to work together, how to hold themselves and others accountable and how to continue to push and fight through whatever obstacle comes their way. In our sport, if you make a mistake, it is visible to everyone around you. How you choose to embrace your weaknesses helps you and others learn from those mistakes and grow.
