A Legacy of Excellence

Since our membership in the Northeast Conference began in 1999, our student-athletes, coaches, and staff have achieved an impressive 73 team championships. Since 2015, we’ve been honored with nine Brenda Weare Commissioner’s Cups and four NEC institutional academic awards. Your support will help us continue this legacy in the MAAC.

Community & Fan Engagement

Our transition to the MAAC opens doors to build on local rivalries with schools like Quinnipiac and Fairfield, fostering more opportunities for community and fan engagement at home and on the road. Improving the Homecourt Advantage

Sacred Heart University has spent the last decade rising to the national stage. Joining a new athletics confer­ence is an important part of our story. We have grown, raised new buildings, and made necessary improvements to many aspects of our physical infra­structure. With over 15 new buildings in that time frame, the time has come to improve the spaces that served as cornerstones of that growth. Over 30 Division I programs call the William H. Pitt Athletic & Convocation Center home. They compete, practice, study and prepare here. It is the heart of Sacred Heart athletics.

Renovating the Pitt Center is necessary for the Pioneers to remain competitive in today’s intercollegiate sports environment.
