The Pioneer Club is the organization responsible for fundraising support for Sacred Heart University Athletics and provides opportunities for alumni, friends, families and other individuals or groups to connect with and support our 33 Division I programs.

Mission

The Pioneer Club’s mission is to fully fund the student-athlete experience by providing the resources necessary for over 1,200 student-athletes to succeed at the highest level in the classroom, competition and the community.

By conducting annual fund, capital, and endowment campaigns in support of student-athlete scholarships, athletic facility enhancements and other programmatic needs, the Pioneer Club seeks to bring positive recognition to Sacred Heart University and the community it serves through a competitive Division I athletics program.

Through the Pioneer Club, we will focus on providing superior customer service to our fans, alumni, donors and community partners.

Importance

Athletics provides an excellent engagement opportunity to the community. The successes and accomplishments of our athletic programs and student-athletes serve as a tremendous recruiting tool for enrollment and a catalyst for philanthropy to all areas of Sacred Heart University.
