Important Dates for Spring 2026 Semester

  • Monday, March 30: Last day to withdraw from a class
  • Friday, April 3 - Monday, April 6: Easter break (residence halls remain open)
  • Monday, April 27: Last day of classes
  • Tuesday, April 28 - Monday, May 4: Final exams
  • Tuesday, May 5: Residence halls close at 10 a.m. for summer break

May 2026 Move Out Information

The residence halls close for the semester on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 10 a.m. Information related to end of the semester closing will be posted in residence halls and sent to students via their SHU email closer to the end of the semester. Information related to the late stay process will be sent in April. Only students who need to stay for SHU related/approved reasons will be allowed to remain in housing past the closing of the residence halls.

Graduating Undergraduate Students (Seniors) are not permitted to remain in SHU housing past the closing of the residence halls (10 a.m. on May 5). Those students will either need to move into senior week housing or find private accommodations elsewhere through the graduation period.

  2. You pack & ship back: You pack your items in the boxes, seal them up, and ship them back over to us over the summer months.
  3. We receive & deliver: Our team receives those packages, stores them, and delivers them ready and waiting in your room when you arrive on campus.
