How to Get One
Current Students
Pending there are no financial holds on the account, all official enrollment verification certificates can be obtained online and accessed by using this link; Myhub each term after enrollment has been reported and for previous terms. Enrollment for the current term is not reported out to the National Student Clearinghouse until after the add/drop period ends, after the end of week 3 of the semester. You will then be able to receive an enrollment certificate through the self-service portal by the end of September after the National Student Clearinghouse has updated their records.

Questions?
For enrollment verification needs that cannot be met through the National Student Clearinghouse, contact the Registrar at registrar@sacredheart.edu.
Loan Deferment
In-School Loan Deferment Form
Sacred Heart University utilizes an electronic loan deferment process. Each term, Sacred Heart University reports your enrollment to the National Student Clearinghouse and to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS). If your student loan lender does not use either of these services to verify student enrollment, they may request that you complete an In-School Deferment Form, which you will obtain directly from your loan lender.
You may then submit this loan deferment paperwork to our office for any term you are enrolled at SHU, after the add/drop period has ended to the Registrar’s Office via email or to our office. Be sure to sign any portions of the form that require your signature, and include:
- Your name
- Student ID#
- Expected Graduation Date
Sacred Heart University can only verify your enrollment for loan deferment for terms in which you were previously or are currently enrolled.
Third Party Requests
Sacred Heart University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to act as its agent for verification of student enrollment status. Third parties wishing to verify student degrees or past/current enrollment must do so through the National Student Clearinghouse. The Registrar's Office will not verify this information directly over the phone and verification will not be provided by phone.
