Global Health & Social Work in India
The Health Science Program and Social Work Program at Sacred Heart University have partnered with The Comprehensive Rural Health Project, Jamkhed (CRHP) to provide a short-term, hands-on experience in Jamkhed, Maharashtra, India. CRHP has been working among the rural poor and marginalized for the past 45 years.
During this two-week certificate course in Community-Based Integrated Health and Development, students participate in and experience:
- Site visits to local villages
- Hands-on practice in research
- Overnight cultural excursion to Aurangabad
