General Questions
Registration will open on April 1 and will close on May 29. Please note that registration may close earlier if the events reach capacity.
Yes, there are capacity limits for certain events.
No. Registration closes on May 29, 2026, and no additional registrations will be accepted.
Payment must be made at the time of registration online via credit card or by calling Alumni Engagement & Events at 203-371-7671.
The weekend will be sold as full weekend or Saturday only packages depending on what days you’d like to attend. Additionally, individual tickets will be available for the Alumni Awards reception only.
Alumni from 1967-2021, both undergraduate and graduate, are eligible to attend. Additionally, guests of alumni are invited to join as well.
Students who graduated after 2021 will be ineligible to attend until their 5-year reunion.
Yes, we will permit a refund of registration and/or housing fees up until May 20, 2026. No refunds will be permitted after that date.
Yes, children or dependents of eligible alumni can attend certain events throughout the weekend.
*No individual under the age of 21 will be permitted in the residence halls if the housing package is purchased.
We encourage you to show your Pioneer Pride throughout the weekend with your SHU swag. Certain events will require cocktail attire or business casual attire. The SHU Bookstore will be open throughout the weekend.
No, you can create your own custom schedule for the weekend.
No, attending Mass is not required, but is strongly encouraged to foster a spirit of community and SHU pride.
Yes! There will be ample opportunities to meet with the Alumni and University Advancement staff to make a gift. You can also make an additional gift when you register. Thank you in advance!
Believe it or not….Yes! Parking will be available throughout campus.

Housing
Yes, housing will be available for those who wish to stay on campus. There will be a nightly fee. You can live in a double, triple or quad. Singles are also available at an additional cost.
Housing will be located in some of SHU’s newest residence halls in the Pioneer Village. These include Thea Bowman Hall and Mother Teresa Hall.
Housing is sold on a nightly basis. You can choose to stay one night or two.
*Special accommodations can be made for the third night for those alumni staying for the Pioneer Open on June 8.
If you purchase a housing package, you can move in during the following times:
- Friday, June 5 | 1 p.m.-6 p.m.
- Saturday, June 6 | 8 a.m.-noon
All housing occupants must be moved out by Sunday, June 7, at noon.
Your housing package includes two nights in an air-conditioned residence hall, a welcome bag of goodies and a linen package which includes a light blanket, sheets, a pillow and hand and bath towels. You are welcome to bring additional blankets, pillows and towels. Housing occupants must bring their own toiletries.
Yes, each room or suite has a mini or medium sized refrigerator.
Yes, alcohol is permitted. However, consumption must be kept to the rooms and by those who purchased a housing package only. No glass bottles of any type will be permitted. Failure to abide by these rules will result in your dismissal from housing.
No individuals under the age of 21 will be permitted in the halls during the weekend.
Housing will be provided in three- or four-person apartments with limited single or double occupancy available. At the time of registration, you will register with your name and provide the name(s) of your housing mates. Rooms will be assigned by Alumni staff.
All requests for accessibility accommodations must be made prior to registration with Alumni Engagement & Events by email at reunion@sacredheart.edu.
There are several local hotels you can choose from. Airbnb is also an option in the area.
Meals & Beverage
Most meals will be included during the weekend. Check the schedule for more information. Also, attendees can choose to dine off campus at your favorite local restaurants during the weekend.
Yes, the Market at SHU in the Academic Center, operated by SHU Dining, will be open throughout the weekend for food, snack and drink purchases.
Yes, SHU Dining will accommodate all food allergies and dietary restrictions. Contact SHU Dining to make them aware of your needs by emailing shudining-catering@sacredheart.edu.
