University Academic Assembly

The University Academic Assembly (UAA) is the representative body for faculty at Sacred Heart University consisting of five officers and elected representatives from each of the five colleges of the university. The mission of the UAA is to facilitate faculty and senior academic administrator involvement in decisions central to the University’s academic role. It is based on the belief that deliberations on academic governance issues are most effectively conducted in an environment inclusive of primary stakeholders in academic decision-making.
