The legacy of Indigenous rights activist Chief Thunderwater is discussed in the context of resistance and the reverberations of the Haudenosaunee sovereignty movement.

Gerald ReidThe Indigenous 150+ film and conversations series features Sacred Heart University professor, Gerald Reid, historian Trish Rae and host Shelby Lisk in the August 7th podcast "Reverberations of Resistance: The Thunderwater Sovereignty Movement."  

Reid's book, Chief Thunderwater: An Unexpected Indian in Unexpected Places, will be released in January of 2021 by the University of Oklahoma Press.
