Graduate Student Profiled in NYT Article on Wellness
Olivia Jordan is the focus of a recent New York Times article on how to commit to self-improvement during the winter months
For some, the winter is a time for parties, big family meals and holiday gatherings. It’s a time to let go of rigid routines and other inhibitions naturally. In a recent New York Times article, Sacred Heart University digital marketing graduate student Olivia Jordan ’23, MS ’24 or “LivFit” as she’s known to her almost 400,000 TikTok followers, shared steps for maintaining the Winter Arc. The term refers to people committing to rigorous schedules of health and wellness before the new year such as going to the gym, eating a healthy diet, journaling and detoxing from social media. Jordan is a part of the University’s digital marketing master’s program and has used the skills from her program to grow and expand her page and brand. Jordan was profiled in the piece as a prime example of someone following the Winter Arc trend. During a time when others tend to ease up, she committed to well-being, routines and mental and physical health.
