Myra L. Polite, MSW, MHEA, is a social worker and retired human resources administrator. Prior to joining SHU as a Ph.D. student, she has been an adjunct professor in the undergraduate college at Stony Brook University since 2009. Myra's expertise is in reducing recidivism for both male and female incarcerated individuals through evidence-based interventions.
