The Sixth-Year Degree in STEAM Education offers one start term per year, in mid-August. Applicants choose the "Summer 2" start term, and we have a priority application deadline of August 1.

  • Completed application
  • Non-refundable application fee
  • Official transcripts of all college level coursework
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • A current resume
  • Personal statement addressing the following
    • In 1-2 pages, please tell us why are you interested in the Sixth-Year Degree in STEAM and how it aligns with your career goals
  • Copy of current teacher certification

Most application materials can be uploaded in the application portal once the initial application is submitted. Transcripts can be sent to Graduate Admissions either electronically (preferred method) to gradstudies@sacredheart.edu or by mail to:
