Responsibilities
- Full-time employment at Connecticut Children’s as a resident physical therapist
- Assist in entry-level physical therapy program instruction
- Participate in coursework offered through Sacred Heart University: 3-4 credits per semester for each of the fall, spring and summer semesters
- Participate in weekly clinical mentorship
- Participate in Journal Club discussions along with the orthopedic and geriatric residents, as well as through the APTA Pediatric Residency and Fellowship Journal Club/Consortium
- Participate in clinical scholarship activities of the residency program as determined by the residency program director
- Attend department activities and meetings as requested
- Provide in-service education to the staff of Connecticut Children’s
- Participate in special setting observations as assigned by the program director
- Other related activities as assigned
