Mission
The Master of nutrition program at Sacred Heart University prepares graduates to become competent, compassionate Registered Dietitian Nutritionists who advance health and well-being across diverse communities. Through innovative, interprofessional, and person-centered education, the program emphasizes experiential learning, ethical practice, and a commitment to lifelong learning in a dynamic health care environment.
Program Goals & Outcomes
Prepare graduates for entry-level practice as Registered Dietitian Nutritionists with expertise in clinical nutrition, community nutrition, and food service management.
Outcomes
- ≥80% of students complete the program within 150% of program length
- ≥80% of graduates seeking employment are employed within 12 months
- ≥90% of graduates take the RDN credentialing exam within 12 months
- ≥80% one-year pass rate on the RDN exam
- ≥80% of employers rate graduates as well-prepared
