- Demonstrate the skills necessary to be employed in higher education settings in a variety of roles
- Demonstrate knowledge, awareness and skills requisite for working with students from different cultural contexts and of different levels of ability
- Demonstrate knowledge of current issues in Student Affairs and Higher Education, as well as historical underpinnings
- Demonstrate an ability to conduct, review and apply research
