Notes

*Nontechnical credits from SHU Core Curriculum total 36 credits; FYS 125 meets English Composition requirement & EC 202 meets Principles of Economics requirement.

  • Core classes listed in italics are sample options; the order of these could be interchanged.
  • Chemistry department will consider waiving the CH 395 Research Project in place of an Introduction to Engineering course or other applied chemistry elective relevant to the student’s future major.
  • Materials Science Engineering majors would replace Linear Algebra (MA 261) with PY 211 – Classic & Quantum Waves.
  • Biomedical Engineering majors would need an additional year of Biology & PY 211 – Classic & Quantum Waves, necessitating either significant AP transfer credit or additional summer course work to complete all requirements.
