This doctoral course examines strategic planning as a leadership process for addressing complex problems of practice in P-12 systems. Candidates analyze data, organizational context, and stakeholder needs to develop, implement, and evaluate strategic plans aimed at continuous improvement and equitable outcomes. Emphasis is placed on evidence-informed decision-making, collaborative leadership, and aligning vision, goals, and action within dynamic educational environments.

Emphasis is placed on leadership advocacy, policy analysis, and evidence-based action to address problems of practice and promote systemic change within educational contexts.
