Parent Council Parking Information

Due to limited parking, we ask graduates and guests to carpool or rideshare if practical for their circumstances. If driving, display your SHU Commencement hangtag on your rearview mirror to facilitate the parking process

Directions

To avoid possible inbound traffic to the amphitheater, it is recommended that you bypass the traffic and access the venue by:

  • Traveling south on Park Avenue
  • Proceed under the I-95 overpass and railroad overpass
  • Make an immediate left on Railroad Avenue
  • After 1/4 of a mile, turn left onto Broad Street
  • A police officer will direct you into the VIP lot

For a GPS point of reference avoiding the amphitheater, use 927 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT and follow the above directions to the VIP lot.

Parking

Public Safety officers will be on site to direct you to your parking space and assist with any questions.

Once parked, look for the private entrance into the amphitheater off your parking lot. You will take the elevator there to the suite level and be guided to the Harbor Club.
