Faculty & Volunteers Parking Information

Display your SHU Commencement hangtag on your rearview mirror for faster lot access. Faculty and staff must always have their SHU ID with them while in the amphitheater.

Directions

To avoid possible inbound traffic to the amphitheater, it is recommended that you bypass the traffic and access the venue by:

  • Traveling south on Park Avenue
  • Proceed under the I-95 overpass and railroad overpass
  • Make an immediate left on Railroad Avenue
  • After 1/4 of a mile, turn left onto Broad Street
  • A police officer will direct you into the VIP lot

For a GPS point of reference avoiding the amphitheater, use 927 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT and follow the above directions to the VIP lot.

Parking

Public Safety officers will be on site to direct you to your parking space and assist with any questions.

Breakfast & Lunch

Faculty

Arrive no later than 7:30 a.m. for breakfast and 1 p.m. for lunch. Food will be served in Lounge VIP-1/Main Concourse.

Faculty marshals will ensure that all faculty are robed, lined up and ready to process 30-45 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.

Staff/Volunteers

Arrive no later than 7:30 a.m. for breakfast and 1 p.m. for lunch. Food will be served in Lounge VIP-3/Main Concourse.

Band/Choir

Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. and lunch will be immediately following the morning ceremony. Food will be served in Two Roads located on the main concourse.
