Visiting Students

Visiting students are those students enrolled in a degree program at another institution who wish to take a class or classes at Sacred Heart.

Here’s what you’ll need to do:

Confirm with your college that they will accept Sacred Heart University credits
Verify that you have completed all SHU prerequisites for courses you wish to take at SHU
View our full course listing and availability
Complete the Visiting Student Application (if you have never taken a course at SHU and have not previously applied)
Once you submit the form you will receive a confirmation email from SHU allowing you to upload an unofficial transcript from your current college (required) in your SHU Portal
Complete and submit the Visiting Student Registration Form in your SHU Portal
After you submit your application materials and completed registration form, you will be registered for your course(s), and you will receive a confirmation email that will include your ID number and instructions on how to set up your SHU account

Are you an Au Pair in southern Connecticut looking to fulfill your au pair agency credits? We offer a unique program for Au Pairs who are proficient in English at a C1 Level to take college credit classes. Au Pairs can sign up for 3-6 credits in a variety of subject areas.
