Once you confirm your enrollment with SHU, you will be receiving important updates about taking next steps to begin your SHU experience, such as:

  • Registering for orientation
  • Completing course registration
  • Fulfilling vaccine & health records requirements 
  • Submitting required forms and documents

Look Forward to FYE

New transfer students have the opportunity to enroll in First-Year Experience (FYE), a six-week, non-credit course to support you in transitioning to your first year at SHU. Alongside other new transfer students, you will get oriented to SHU and explore skills, behaviors and attitudes that contribute to resilience and success.

Sacred Heart supported my transition as a transfer student by remaining in sufficient contact. The entire faculty was communicative in planning schedules and meeting our housing needs. The great thing about these faculty members is that I remain in contact with them and their support systems every day.
