Residential Life Central Office Worker

This opportunity is ideal for a motivated student seeking to gain valuable professional experience and enhance their resume. The role involves performing general administrative tasks while providing support to the office manager and directors. Candidates must be dependable, detail-oriented and capable of handling confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in office communications, including answering phones and greeting walk-ins
  • Perform a variety of administrative responsibilities (including but not limited to filing, copying, cross-referencing reports for accuracy, poster and advertising creation and other duties as assigned))
  • Assist and organizing paperless system
  • Data entry and general file maintenance

Furniture Moving Crew 

Furniture Moving Crew students will assist in the upkeep and maintenance of the residential facilities. Crew will specifically help with furniture requests, assisting students with their room and apartment furnishings and providing support for Residential Life staff with inventory and organization of departmental assets. There are not opportunities to do remote work and must check in with supervisor for each shift.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to facilities and furniture request
  • Assess and inventory storage stocks and assets
  • Assist with basic repairs of residence furnishings
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

ResLife Marketing Assistant

This position is perfect for any student with an interest in marketing, graphic design, digital marketing, and social media. The marketing assistant will work with our main office and the residence hall directors to fulfill the needs of our department through various forms of media.

Responsibilities

  • To assist the staff of the department with development of marketing materials
  • Monitor website for accuracy of information, layout and function
  • Utilize existing department social media to share information, advertise events and create campaigns
  • Align all content with university/department guidelines & strategy

Requirements

  • Looking for students with experience in social media, graphic design or multimedia production
  • Candidates should be enthusiastic
  • Consistency is required
