Academic Mentor/Tutor
This position is perfect for students pursuing a career in education, or anyone interested in community service and working with children. Virtual Academic Mentor/Tutor will work with children in grades K-8 within the Bridgeport School District.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of daily enrichment activities (i.e. dance, fitness, cooking, music, etc.)
- Tutoring students in need of academic assistance during assigned homework time
- Assisting classroom teachers in lesson implementation
- Must enjoy working with children
- Consistency is required
Location
This position does not offer remote work assignments.

Digital Marketing Nonprofit Assistant
This position is perfect for any student with an interest in community service. Marketing Nonprofit Assistants will work within a nonprofit organization within the greater Bridgeport community to fulfill the needs of the organization.
Responsibilities
- To assist the staff of the non-profit organization with development of digital marketing materials.
- Monitor website for accuracy of information, layout, and function.
- Perform administrative duties
- Contact supervisors for more information
- Experience in social media, graphic design, or multimedia production.
- Candidates should be enthusiastic
- Consistency is required

Van Driver
This position is ideal for students with clean driving records and an interest in community service. Students in this position will drive service-based work-study students to their sites using the Community Engagement minivans and play a vital role in the operations of service learning programs.
Responsibilities
- Driving students safely to and from their work study locations
- Be able to follow office protocol on van expectations
- Delivering donations to local nonprofits
- Cleaning and maintaining vans on a regular basis

Teacher's Assistant
This position is perfect for students pursuing a career in education, or anyone interested in community service and working with children. Teacher's Assistants will work with children in grades K-8 within the Bridgeport School District.
Responsibilities
- Working one-on-one with a child who needs extra help
- Assisting classroom teachers in lesson implementation
- Accomplishing administrative duties as needed (photocopying, filing, etc.)
- Must enjoy working with children and be willing to work in an urban setting
- Consistency is required
