Theatre Arts Program (TAP) Graduate Assistant

Assist with administrative work and schedules for Theatre activities - grant auditions,
orientation days, etc.

  • Full-time (35 hours/week)
  • 2019-2020 Compensation Package:
    • $15,000 tuition waiver
    • $7,050 stipend

Dates

Two-year position beginning August 26, 2020

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Director of Theatre with new student auditions for grants and entering reports into Slate.
  • Assisting with recruitment when needed.
  • Assisting the Director of Theatre with Mapworks for all freshmen and sophomores.
  • Maintaining the music library with updates and music copy when needed.
  • Providing overall assistance with running the Theatre Arts Program day-to-day activities.
  • Scheduling auditions for new incoming students.

Knowledge & Skills Needed

  • Basic organizational skills needed.
  • Positive and supportive attitude to deal with many different student situations.
  • Good communication skills to help explain and develop the Theatre Arts Program.

Unusual Working Conditions

  • Weekends and evenings will be necessary as needed.
