Graduate Assistant (EX Faculty Assistant)

August 19, 2021 - May 15, 2022

Primary Role

To assist Exercise Science faculty with research and undergraduate laboratory teaching or evaluation. 

  • Part-time (12 hours/week)
  • Compensation: $5,000 tuition waiver

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • This GA will be used primarily as a faculty research assistant. This will most likely involve data collection, entry, and analysis.
  • This GA will assist in undergraduate lecture preparation and/or delivery, and will be charged with running class when the instructor is unable to attend due to professional conflicts.
  • This GA will not be used for evaluating papers, short essays, or assignments with any degree of subjectivity. 
  • This GA will be used to assist undergraduate Honor's projects and coordinate lab scheduling with either the Motion Analysis Lab or the Human Performance Lab.  

Knowledge & Skills Needed

A Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or related field is required.

Knowledge & Skills Needed

A Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or related field is required. Additionally, applicants must have completed 9 credits of graduate coursework in the Master of Science in Exercise & Sport Science program (EX 403 Research Methods must be part of those 9 credits).
