Outreach Coordinator
The English Language Institute (ELI) is seeking a graduate student at the start of their program to serve as the Outreach Coordinator. The position requires 15 weekday hours. The successful candidate must represent the ELI in a mature and eloquent manner and have related work experience.
- Part-time (15 hours/week)
- Compensation: $9,405
The following are required for the position:
- A major in Strategic Communication & Corporate PR, Finance, Business Analytics or Digital Marketing
- Experience in finance and social media campaigns
- Interest in international and intercultural communication is preferred
Dates
October 7, 2024 - June 30, 2025
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Support with bookkeeping and advanced financial reporting (Advanced Excel knowledge required)
- Conduct budgeted Ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and Google SEO
- Conduct targeted drip campaigns in Slate
- Respond to inquiries via office email account, WhatsApp and other communicators
- Implement marketing tools to build the inquiry pool, generate applications and increase ESL student enrollment
- Design marketing materials and manage ELI social media accounts
- Maintain and update recruitment-related international contacts in a central database
- Arrange events for current ELI students (group lunches, excursions, on-campus gatherings, etc.)
Knowledge & Skills Needed
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Finance, Business Preferred)
- Study abroad and/or other international experience preferred (Second Language fluency Preferred)
- Ease with technology. Demonstrated experience using MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), Google Docs, social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Wordpress), as well as messaging apps (WhatsApp, Line, Telegram, WeChat, Signal, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to multitask and handle multiple ongoing projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to diverse constituents
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Unusual Working Conditions
Occasional weekend and/or evening hours required.
