Goals

Visibility/Prominence

• Develop and implement strategies to disseminate program outcomes and college accomplishments
• Promote the health and well-being of local and global communities and strengthen community engagement and partnerships

Academic Excellence

• Foster faculty and student research and enhance intellectual curiosity, scholarship, knowledge translation and evidence-based practice
• Leverage faculty expertise, facilities, and technologies to develop a Center of Excellence in Healthcare Innovation, integrating research, practice and service
• Design, implement and evaluate faculty and staff development strategies 
• Improve program quality and maintain program-specific and NECHE accreditation

Diversity Community

• Create a caring, compassionate, and inclusive environment open to diverse opinions and experiences. Enhance faculty and student diversity and understanding of diversity issues.
• Strengthen the student experience-focus of the university

Growth/Financial Stability

• Enhance, sustain and develop programs to ensure financial stability and growth
• Grow the University’s endowment by securing numerous endowed gifts, targeted growth in alumni advancement and a comprehensive fundraising program to fund the Strategic Plan’s academic and athletic aspirations

Interprofessional

• Develop opportunities and foster interprofessional learning to build competencies for Interprofessional (IP) team-based practice and holistic care
• Expand college-wide experiential learning, develop, and implement innovative health care delivery models and clinical and practice-based experiences. Design and deliver effective, flexible and creative teaching formats and pedagogies to optimize student learning.
